The Jacques Henri Lartigue collection forms a kind of family and social chronicle of the 20th century (1902-1986). Among the themes illustrated by these photographs we find :

1930 - 1986




















- Artistic figures such as Sacha Guitry, Kees Van Dongen, Pablo Picasso, Danielle Darrieux and Jean Cocteau and the photographers Hiro, Richard Avedon, David Bailey, Ralph Gibson and Bill Brandt.
- Cinema, with the shoots of films by Robert Bresson, François Truffaut, Federico Fellini, Jacques Feyder and the Cannes Film Festival which JHL attended from 1946 until his death.
- Commissions such as flowers and English gardens, fashion for Vogue magazine and the presidency of Valéry Giscard d'Estaing.
