The J.H. Lartigue Donation has set up a partnership with the Sainte-Marie Fondation Hôpitalière in southern Paris, has set up a longterm loan of 40 photographs by Lartigue, which are on permanent display in its rehabilitation care unit. Lartigue was an absolute master of conveying the dynamism of the human body in motion. Bursting with energy and life, his joyful, exuberant images are meant to inspire and encourage hope in patients undergoing physical therapy.
