From March 26 to May 21, 2016, the gallery Vassie in Amsterdam presents the exhibition Love, Life… Lartigue, in its fourth collaboration with the Donation Lartigue (Halcyon Days in 2005; Joie de vivre in 2007; and in 2014, Winter in Amsterdam).
Lartigue’s family, friends, women in his life, holidays… this selection of images expresses the irrepressible joie de vivre, bringing together historic black-and-white images and color.
This exhibition of collectible prints was conceived to complement the exhibition Life in Color, organised in collaboration with the Maison européenne de la photographie, Paris, and shown at Foam FotoMuseum Amsterdam, which ran through April 3, 2016.
